Worldwide leader in tech recruiting software, Codility, has recently announced record new customer growth in acquisitions during the 2018 first quarter. The increase was over 30% compared to 2017's first quarter.
Through aiding global organizations in more accurately assess the real-life technical skills of job candidates, Codility assists its clients in more effectively growing and reinforcing their tech teams. It recently added many top companies as customers, including ClassPass, Concord, Ericsson, ForeSee, Tipico, Volvo Cars and Zoosk.

Additionally, active paid user accounts have more than doubled year-over-year as an increasing amount of existing customers, including Nissan and HERE Technologies, expand Codility’s role in their hiring process beyond skills assessments. Two popular enhancements are Codility’s Training Suite, which helps organizations upskill their team members, and Sponsored Challenges, which provide a direct connection to raise awareness of a company amongst Codility’s global developer community. The most recent Sponsored Challenge hosted by Avature drove over 1,500 coders to its website during the challenge period, and 30 applications from around the world.
Recent Product Enhancements that Improve the Customer and Candidate Experience
Creating candidate-centric tests on Codility is now simpler for recruiters and hiring managers with expanded guidance including helpful tips and alerts that warn of potential issues. Codility’s newly enhanced user interface and customization options, like autocomplete and resizable windows, further support the optimal performance of candidates and allow them to show off their best work. CodeLive, Codility’s collaborative coding tool, now has voice and video capabilities integrated which improves the candidate connection by making it easier to engage and interact in real-time.
Independent Recognition Informed by Customer Evaluations
Codility was recently named to the Leader quadrant of the G2 Crowd Grid for Pre-Employment Testing Software, as determined by customer satisfaction and scale. Partnership with Leading ATS Provider Further Streamlines the Hiring Process
Codility now integrates with Lever, allowing teams using both platforms to simplify hiring workflows for their technical roles. Customers can automatically trigger screening assessment invitations and customize tests and invitation emails based on the role or candidate directly within Lever. It also pulls test results from Codility into candidate profiles on Lever. This gives everyone involved in screening candidates more convenient access to the information needed to make well-informed hiring decisions, faster. This is Codility’s sixth native ATS integration and further extends its ability to bring speed and precision to the hiring process.
Newly Appointed CTO, Expanded Sales and Product Management Support Future Growth
In addition to expanding its sales and product teams this year, Codility named Wojtek Erbetowski its Chief Technology Officer. His expertise will help the company further optimize product teams and champion innovative technologies. Erbetowski brings over a decade of technology and management experience, formerly as the CTO at Growbots and Head of Engineering at Polidea. He is extremely active in the Polish technology community, having built groups such as the Warsaw Java User Group and Mobile Warsaw.
