AndCo, the hot desk freelancing website, has recently announced the securing of £800,000 in funding from a series of Angel investors to promote and expand their platform that allows freelancers to "rent out" workspaces for a low monthly fee.

CEO Sanj Mahal said: “We have been delighted by the enthusiasm for AndCo as we launch across London with many incredible venues in the capital. The establishments on our platform are natural spaces for people to come together and create a local collective.

“Working habits have changed, whether you are a freelancer or remote worker, you need space outside of the traditional office. We firmly believe our strategy, working closely with venues to provide the optimum working environment; including secure, high-speed WiFi and a members’ networking platform, will help workers find quality and cost-effective short-term desk space and generate additional buzz and revenue for each establishment,” he added.
