From today until June 30th, 2018, young Colombian talent will be able to enrol in the talent management program Global Management Trainee (GMT) in Bavaria.

Last year, GMT allowed 12 young Colombians, 7 women and 5 men between the ages of 21 and 24 to enter the company and begin an indefinite term career.

"In Colombia, there is young talent that should be valued. Therefore, in Bavaria year after year we open a call to recruit and grow it through programs such as GMT, Trainee Supply, Commercial Talent and Logistics Talent," said Ricardo Moreira, regional and Colombian president.

He added that "we are constantly looking for ambitious university graduates, with dreams, who think like owners, and as such, assume the results as their own. Curious young people, entrepreneurs and motivated who want to leave their mark, because we know that the best people make the best company".

Pablo Uribe, vice president of People of Bavaria, said the company believes it can help young people fulfil dreams that, in turn, can transform lives.

"Last year, 99 young people entered Bavaria thanks to GMT, Trainee Supply, Commercial Talent and Logistics Talent. Professionals that today, thanks to our culture of meritocracy, where hierarchies are not worth, but talent and proposals, face challenges and the development of projects with ambitious goals. The experience with them has reiterated that young people have a lot to offer and that the change comes with their ambitions and work well done," he said.

The GMT selection process has 6 stages. It begins with the registration in the platform and ends with the interview of the panel, through which the president of Bavaria and vice-presidents of different areas will choose the GMT.

The program includes 10 months of training, where participants will rotate through the areas of the company, with the opportunity to acquire knowledge.

Then, the chosen ones will be assigned to their first positions within the structure of Bavaria, ensuring the global knowledge of the business, as well as a career management plan.

In addition, they can participate for a week in a meeting with all the trainees of the world in the Global induction, which will be in St. Louis, in the United States.
