IFEMA has reached a collaboration agreement with the ADECCO Foundation, which works on the integration into the labour market of people with access difficulties through reorientation programs.
This collaboration has been carried out within the framework of International Women's Day, which takes place today, March 8, in which IFEMA has contributed to its dissemination campaign by supporting the action through its communication channels.
Among the actions in which IFEMA collaborates and which is being carried out by the ADECCO Foundation in this environment, work sessions with associations, directives, Public Administrations, and beneficiaries, to generate dialogue, and especially employment, through the organization of workshops with women victims, with disabilities, over 45 years of age and with non-shared family responsibilities, in short with women who suffer discrimination and inequality today.
IFEMA, within its actions in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility, has been collaborating with the ADECCO Foundation, in the last three years, as well as with other entities and associations that ensure the rights of women, and other disadvantaged groups. Likewise, it promotes the participation of women in the IFEMA work environment, with conciliation policies, which last year earned the recognition of the Fundación Familia for their continued work during the 10 years of the EFR certification, as well as-is for its long-term commitment to preserving the values of conciliation in the company's corporate culture.
IFEMA's commitment to the integration of women in the workplace increases year by year, through a policy of equal work opportunities and professional development and promotion, as a result of which it has nearly 50% of women in its workforce, having received last year the diploma of adhesion to the program "More Women, Better Companies", promoted by the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality.
