Almost half of the Internet users look for employment online and many of them visit job portals to embark on the process. Given this evidence, Google has just launched its 'Jobs' function in Argentina, connecting job applicants with employers.
Using artificial intelligence, Google Jobs enables users to access job postings on specialized platforms. In addition, according to the filters or needs pre-established by the users, the results will be more specific.
Consequently, users will obtain a detailed selection of each position, with its corresponding description. In turn, alerts can be programmed to send an email notification matching the searched job profile.
As if that were not enough since Google reads the location information of its registered users, job seekers will be able to determine the commute time to their new office from home.
Job searches can also be conducted from a smartphone. Simply typing phrases such as "jobs near me", "jobs for teachers" or similar queries, job seekers can get specific and detailed results with each search.
In Argentina, Google has aligned itself with partners such as Jobs Clarin, Trovit Jobs, Work Argentina, Workana and Lovemondays, and globally with LinkedIn and Glassdoor, among others.
