Recently, the Indian government debuted Pavitra, the online platform for teacher recruitment. This site is designed to find and inspire the best of teaching candidates and find them well-suited positions with great employers without using bribes.
Addressing reporters, education minister Vinod Tawde said that the merit list of 1.78 lakh aspirants was ready and they started entering personal details from Friday.
“If there is a mismatch between the details submitted now and those at the time of examination, then the aspirant can remove the discrepancy at the office of district education officer,” he said.
The department has started a helpline for candidates who are turned away by education institute owners despite being selected. “The primary and middle school education officers will hold hearings of the owners. Aid will be stopped if they refuse to recruit meritorious candidates,” the minister said.
