ON:iT, the Manchester-based IT recruitment startup, has recently launched a revolutionary virtual meeting room for video conferencing, interviewing, and more. Titled ON:LiNE, the tool allows firms and prospective clients to meet electronically through the platform and even record the transaction, saving valuable time during the hiring process.
Online interviews have certainly proved their merit in recent years. As they permit preliminary questions to be queried and recorded digitally as opposed to traditional face-to-face interviews, they ensure only the most qualified candidates make it through to the concluding hiring bracket.
Since their late 2016 inception, ON:iT has gone through exponential growth that's hit the double-digits and preluded an office relocation to match. They're looking now to invest in making the recruitment process even more efficient for clients in both speed and cost.
“Every minute counts when recruiting for IT jobs – especially contract roles,” Sales Director Christ Bailey said, adding, “We are acutely aware of the pressures our clients face, some of whom have a long list of roles to recruit for at any one time. We launched ON:LiNE to reduce the burden of interviews for our clients, and it’s had great feedback so far.”
Meanwhile, Managing Director, Richard Young, commented, “As IT recruiters, it only seems sensible that we should be embracing technology ourselves. By investing in the right places we’re giving ourselves an edge in the market and ultimately adding value to clients.”
