US: Pirate Connect grows networking opportunities for students

By Editor 0 Comments NEWS, Regional News

Pirate Connect was recently launched by Seton Hall University as a new career development platform that will give students the opportunity to connect virtually more than 100,000 alumni on a global level working in a diverse pool of industries.

Networking continues to be the most effective method for gaining mentorship advice, exploring internship opportunities, being referred and introduced to other influencers and, of course, finding employment.

Pirate Connect brings 21st-century innovation to enhance the networking experience, streamlining the process and making it more effective and easier to build relationships with fellow alumni who are interested in guiding a Seton Hall student's professional growth.

The database consists of participating alumni who have agreed to offer everything from a phone call or a casual chat over a cup of coffee to informational meetings and interviews to discuss potential opportunities. References play a critical role in building a network of personal stakeholders, and the platform makes it simple to be introduced among industry colleagues who all have their shared experience as a Seton Hall student to begin the conversation.
